Rémy, an expat living in Japan, is arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs, a crime he insists he did not commit. Can he successfully defend himself against the prejudices of the Japanese drug agents and the juggernaut of the Japanese judicial system where suspects are coerced into confessions, and 99% of those charged with crimes are found guilty in a court of law? More crucially, can Rémy keep the “crimes” he did commit from being discovered?

"REALLY REALLY good! I couldn’t stop reading it! (You made me cry, laugh and stay up really really late reading it!) Though I am disappointed that in the end, he got away with so much lying. But I guess there has to be a happy ending…" - Sharon
"I recently stumbled across this, and I have to say that I’m hooked! This is an interesting story told in a great way! I have to ask, how much (if any) is personal experience and how much is fiction? From your accuracy with Japanese language, culture, and geography I’m lead to believe you lived in Japan for a while, like the main character, if not still here. Look forward to more installments." - Bob in Chiba
